  • I recently visited New Ipoh Kitchen Asian Cuisine in Brooklyn, and it was such a comforting and flavorful Malaysian-style dinner experience! ???????? Bak Kut Teh (肉骨茶) — the broth was rich, full of herbal aroma, and the pork ribs were super tender. Perfect for a cozy evening. Roti Canai — crispy outside, soft inside, and served with a delicious curry dip. Definitely a must-order starter! Golden Fried Squid — crispy, not greasy, and seasoned just right with salt and pepper. Sizzling Tofu — came out hot and fragrant, with soft homemade tofu and savory sauce sizzling on the plate. Sarang Burung (佛砵飄香) — such an interesting dish! A crispy edible “nest” filled with a mix of seafood and vegetables — flavorful and beautifully presented. We also tried their Eight Treasure Ice (八宝冰沙) for dessert — refreshing and fun with all the toppings! Service was friendly and fast, and the dining atmosphere was warm and clean. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving authentic Malaysian comfort food in Brooklyn!

  • great family friendly restaurant with flavorful and authentic Asian fusion dishes in brooklyn. We ordered the usual Malay dishes — coconut rice had a salty flavor to it, Thai jasmine rice had little flavor, tofu/fish stone pot was yummy, and stingray was amazing! Shoutout to the young man who was attentive and patient, and a little funny, during a busy lunch hour…the other servers were rushed & frantic, which made me nervous !! Calm down ladies Slow and steady wins the race, I promise

  • Excellent services and food! The pork chop is not oily and super crispy! The chicken is always soft and tender. The vegetables are so flavorful and fresh! The satay beef stick is the only spot that i had that makes it so soft and juicy! Highly recommend!

  • Small family run restaurant with cool interior designs. The fried chicken wings were just okay, too much breading IMO. The Ipoh seafood wat dan hor (F6) was good. The flat noodles hiding underneath had good char and flavor. It can get busy and wait is long during dinner rush hours.

  • New Ipoh Kitchen is a gem! Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and felt freshly cooked with real care. The standout was the Ipoh Fried Pearl Noodle (F2), perfectly chewy noodles with a rich, smoky sauce that keeps you wanting another bite. It’s easily our favorite dish. Friendly service, tasty food, great portions. We’ll definitely be back… and ordering F2 again for sure!
